HOW
DO’S and DON’TS
Do |
Research! |
Do |
Spend time on the Headline! This is super important to get people intrigued and wanting more |
Do |
Use bullet points. Bullet points are much easier to digest when spotted throughout longer form copy |
Do |
Use visual aids throughout your copy – people consume content in different ways, but most people find it off-putting to sit down to a large piece of writing that isn’t broken up by visual aids |
Do |
Keep your Avatar in mind at all times – if you write as if you are writing a personal message to one person, you may find the process much easier! |
Don’t |
Worry about giving away your special sauce – if potential customers like what they read, they’ll want more from you! |
Don’t |
Give up! If you’re having trouble coming up with the content, approach it is small bite-sized chunks – one sub heading at a time. Just make sure at the end to read through and make sure it flows. |
Don’t |
Forget the CTA! |
