HOW

DO’S and DON’TS

Do

Research!

Do

Spend time on the Headline! This is super important to get people intrigued and wanting more

Do

Use bullet points. Bullet points are much easier to digest when spotted throughout longer form copy

Do

Use visual aids throughout your copy – people consume content in different ways, but most people find it off-putting to sit down to a large piece of writing that isn’t broken up by visual aids

Do

Keep your Avatar in mind at all times – if you write as if you are writing a personal message to one person, you may find the process much easier!

Don’t

Worry about giving away your special sauce – if potential customers like what they read, they’ll want more from you!

Don’t

Give up! If you’re having trouble coming up with the content, approach it is small bite-sized chunks – one sub heading at a time. Just make sure at the end to read through and make sure it flows.

Don’t

Forget the CTA!
