    DO’S AND DON’TS

Be conversational! Try having someone around asking your questions which you answer (for example, if I was to make an explainer video for this, a “buddy” might prompt me by asking “What are some helpful tips for recording a video?”)

Unless you are recording a masterclass or webinar, keep videos to roughly 2-5 mins long (any longer split them into multiple videos)

Record multiple videos in one day, the more your record, the more comfortable (and therefore natural) you become

Click your tongue – surprisingly a big habit for a lot of people!

Scratch/tap your chest where the mic is

Wear clothing with busy patterns on it – the camera won’t like it

Worry about being too casual, people will connect with you more if you come across as human (not a robot!) – but overall remember your avatar. Eg; if your avatar is an extremely professional lawyer, you need to keep that in mind and act accordingly.

    WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You understand what you need to do to create a quality looking video to amplify your message with your target avatar.
